Sheep's Skull l
This is actually a love token from my partner. They’re a keeper when they know bringing you a dead sheep’s head is going to fill you with delight!
This is a large mixed media piece and will be A1 size when framed. It will be the first in a series of work based on the skull. Life and death surround us all as much as we would like to not think about it and I see it more in the countryside. I often find various bones and skulls littering the beach and find them fascinating. Some are delicate and fragile or substantial like this one but they all have a beauty about them and I love the variety of muted colours. Bones are definitely not white.
